NSW recorded 35 new cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours to 8 p.m. last night. Thirty-three of the cases were related to a known case or group, with 20 family contacts. Seven of today’s cases were infectious in the community and four more were isolated during part of their infectious period. Twenty-four of today’s 35 cases were in isolation throughout their infectious periods. There are five new cases associated with Virgin flight VA524 on June 26, bringing the flight’s total number of cases to nine, including eight passengers and one family contact. There are two new cases associated with the birthday party in West Hoxton, bringing the total number of cases associated with the party to 45.
