Interview with Geeta Chopra, winner of the NJ Governor Award

In 2018, she won the New Jersey Governor’s Award and wrote a book about the 45th president called “My Public Letter to Donald Trump”, which she sent to him. I spoke to him via Facebook Messenger about the book.

Why did you win the NJ Governor’s Award?

“Outstanding community service to the public of the State of New Jersey, for producing and hosting two television programs that educate the public on health issues and current affairs as they unfold on my TV show, “The Geeta Chopra Show” and “We The People.””

“I was also recognized for volunteering for several boards, including the YWCA of Princeton, and serving as a prayer partner for the 700 Club.”

“I have been a frequent guest speaker at Rotary clubs in New Jersey where I have given my presentation on ‘Deep Breathing Healing!’ “”

“Before the pandemic, I also owned and operated a franchise restaurant where I employed 35 people.”

What do you say in your public letter to President Trump? Have you heard from him?

“First, I recognize his economic legacy and his bold policies that confronted American slavery for decades. I declared him to be the first president who cared enough about America to risk being hated by Americans.”

“He has broken down barriers by leading us away from unfair trade deals, one-sided military alliances and foreign slavery, while tackling the failed domestic manufacturing industry gobbled up by China.”

It withstood NATO, OPEC, NAFTA and more in just 4 short years. I believe he was divinely guided. I thanked him for his hard work and implored him to run again in 2024. He started a good job, and I pray that God completes it through him. Finally, I discuss the vision God gave me of him in a dream. It is this vision that inspired the book.”

What do you think of those who disagree with you?

“Our country is split in two, and sometimes I don’t recognize the America I grew up in. We’ve had a lot of individuals who grew up to believe that America is a terrible place. For example, they promote racism as they continually call America a racist nation, instead of acknowledging that we had a black president and anything is possible in America.”

“They also suffer from historical amnesia when they don’t take advantage of what our founding fathers died to give them – economic freedom, prosperity and freedom. I encourage any American who hates America to go live in another country for 5 years and then come back and have a conversation with me.”

“I will publish more books. God has prepared me so that not everyone is my audience. He has made that very clear to me, so I am preparing myself. The best I can do is tell the truth and never lose my authenticity.”

“I pray that all who live in darkness will be awakened by the light of truth. The government is not their God, God is still God. And he is still on the throne. I may have a bit misguided!”

Have you heard from him?

“Not yet, but one of my assistants works with a member of staff who works directly with his team on a weekly basis, assured me that he had personally received a copy of this book. I plan to do signings with him as my next step, it’s only a matter of time! He’s not just a political hero, but someone I’ve learned a lot from on a personal level because he has the “never give up” mentality.

Do you think he will run again in 2024?

“In my book, I personally invited it, and it has been my belief and my prayer ever since. My friends such as Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano, who also wrote the foreword to my book, and all the local Republican committees are also hoping America needs him now more than ever. Our leadership in Washington is weak and dangerous, to say the least. They’ve let the Americans down so much of levels.

New Jersey’s New Legislative Districts for the 2020s

The boundaries of the 40 legislative districts for the Senate and Assembly elections from 2023 to 2029, and possibly 2031, were approved in a bipartisan Allocation Commission vote on February 18, 2022. The map continues to favor the Democrats, although Republicans say it gives a chance of winning a majority.
