Lightning, thunder and gusts of wind sweep through the state | New

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – A line of heavy rain swept through the state on Monday morning.

Meteorologist Scot Haney has been following him since his arrival.

“We have active weather for you [Monday] morning in terms of lightning, thunder, strong gusty winds and heavy showers, “Haney said.” This will continue to move from west to east. “

Thunderstorms were expected to be in the state until about 9 a.m.

Haney said the showers will be intermittent throughout Monday.

In addition, despite the sun, temperatures should be below average. Many places should be just under 70 degrees.

The showers were to persist until Tuesday morning.

“The dynamics will be good enough for routine thunderstorms until early afternoon,” said Haney.

Tuesday must have been a bit sunnier and wetter than Monday. Temperatures are expected to rebound to nearly 80 degrees.

“Wednesday through Friday will be about as good as it is here,” Haney said. “It will be a hot and dry season.”
