A fatal hit-and-run crash forced authorities to shut down part of I-91 North near the Hartford Line on Sunday morning.

The vehicle involved, reportedly a blue 2002-04 Honda CRV, did not stop and continued to roll.

The Honda has a spare tire attached to the rear and may have damage to its headlight / headlight area and the driver’s side sill.

The causeway was closed between exits 27 and 28 while state police investigated, but reopened around 9:20 a.m. that morning.
